"FIRST DO NO HARM"

I Founded Life Pediatrics out of a need and passion for better and more natural healthcare.

While I am trained in traditional western medicine, I recently have begun to analyze and examine the dogma of American medical practice. I’ve realized that many physicians have strayed away from the heart and soul of simple common sense health and wellness. We have offset the natural balance that exists in our bodies and our environment. We have lost our connection with the soul of the Earth.

We have become a society that feels a need to intervene in the natural cycles and rhythms of health, wellness, and environmental balance.

Humanity has survived as a species for thousands of years without scientific intervention. Although scientific intervention has cured many diseases and improved quality of life, that same intervention has poisoned our environment and detached us from our abilities to stay well and heal ourselves.

I’ve come to the realization that there needs to be a balance between the new and the old.

As modern day physicians we have forgotten to take time to listen to our clients and foster a nurturing environment that promotes caring and wellness.

As a society there has been disconnect between our “conscious” mind and our “unconscious” soul.

We do not listen to the natural signals our bodies give to us, instead we are alarmed by them.

We are too busy as a society to take time to let our bodies heal naturally. We do not take time to prepare food that gives us balanced, non-contaminated nutrition.

We have become a “quick-fix” society easily lured by the media and our own inertia to “take a pill and feel better fast”. We do not take time to allow life and nature to take its course.

My primary goal is to “first do no harm”.

-To be a non-interventionist.

-To allow the body to use its own natural defenses to heal whenever possible.

-To educate on what is normal and what the bodies signs and symptoms mean.

-To educate the child and parent to listen to his or her own body.

-To educate about organic nutrition from day one of life and even before conception, as a path to lifetime wellness.

-To custom tailor wellness and medical care to each child and families needs.

-To allow time at each visit so that all issues are discussed in a serene and non rushed format.

-To return to simplicity, to be an old fashioned doctor in a new age society.

-To commit to each family so that each child achieves physical and spiritual health and wellness for “LIFE”.
